

High Performance Fund
Purpose
-
To support active PNP members participating in cycle racing in major overseas and domestic events.

Open to participants in any discipline, e.g. mountain bike, track, road or even gravel disciplines.
-
Qualifying races include national championships, or well-recognised international events.

Preference is given to junior or under 23 riders, however all ages may apply.

Grant amounts
For international events which require overseas travel:
-
$500 capped at one grant per year per athlete, and a maximum of two per athlete lifetime.

PNP is able to grant up to six awards per financial year (1 July to 30 June).
For national championship events (CNZ, MTBNZ or Schools Cycling including Oceania Championships when in New Zealand):

$50 capped at one grant per year per athlete.

Criteria

Must apply for the grant via the online application form on pnp.org.nz.

Must be a licensed member of PNP Cycling Club.

Must have participated in PNP Cycling Club organised events in the previous 12 months, or show evidence of representing PNP at other events.

Must show evidence of making a meaningful contribution to the club (e.g. committee roles, marshalling, attending working bees, assisting with coaching sessions, etc.).

Must agree to provide material for at least one newsletter item/ social media post after the event.​
