Summer Series starts THIS WEEKEND!

There are only THREE MORE SLEEPS until this year's PNP Road Summer Series gets underway.

The Sub-committee have created a great line-up of courses, with two distances at each event to choose from.

You can enter as an individual, or you can sign-up as part of a team. You can ride one, two, three... or all of the five events in the Series, that's up to you too. You can enter online, or on the day – but entering online saves you lots of $$. But, what you don't want to do is miss out!

Registering online for events is easy, you simply click on the Enter Now button from the website, and you will go through to the Webscorer page. If you're a PNP Member click yes when asked, and lower down enter the category that applies to your age, gender and member status, then the discount will be applied.

If you are entering as a team, the Captain (or designated person) registers the team and pays the one-off series fee. Then each rider enters separately and clicks their team name from the dropdown menu when prompted. Teams can be registered at any time, but you pay only the once for the whole Series – so why not sign up from the start ;) Enter a team now

If you are not keen on riding but are interested in being involved, or you have a family or friend who would be willing to come along and help, we are looking for some volunteers. We require:

Neutral Service

Someone to follow the main bunch of the Gran Fondo with spare wheels. This can be a team manager from one of the teams or it can be someone unconnected to any particular team, either way the service is neutral. No mechanical knowledge necessary as riders change their own wheel.

Sag Wagon

Someone to follow behind the last rider and assist anyone that is unable to complete the ride and wants a lift back to the start/finish. No mechanical knowledge necessary.

You simply need a valid drivers licence and your own registered vehicle with the capacity to carry wheels, and/or bikes. For more information about volunteering please contact Mark Sherlock 021481562.

Finally, PNP has designed some fantastic kit for our members/riders. Due to popular demand, we've extended the shop opening at our Tineli store until Tuesday 20 February. Deliveries will be made around the 13th of April, so will arrive in plenty of time if you're planning on riding for PNP at the Nationals. Go on – you know you want to: PNP Club Kit

The Series kicks of THIS SATURDAY at 10am outside ANZAC Hall, 62 Bell Street, Featherstone. It's open to people of all ages and abilities, so if you've ever wanted to give road riding a go, or are after a new challenge for 2018 – this is your opportunity. Event 1 – Ocean Beach Challenge
